Walter Deptula

I met Walter “aka Zip” thru a shipmate of mine when I was in the navy. Zip was just a civilian and I got to know him pretty well. He lived in West Hollywood, and he offered us to stay there the whole weekend and party. We took him up on it and it was a lot of fun. I didn’t know much about Zip except that he had died of a chronic heart failure which we all knew because he told us. It was unfortunate that it finally caught up with him. He was a trooper and lived his life to the fullest. He will be missed.
